Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many court records, subject to court orders, confidentiality rules, and record-specific limits. The hard part is figuring out which Dade County office holds the file you want. The Clerk of Superior and Juvenile Courts handles Superior and Juvenile Court filings and certified copies. Superior Court handles felonies, divorce, broad civil matters, domestic relations, and real estate litigation. Probate Court handles estates, wills, guardianships, marriage-license records, and weapons-carry applications. Magistrate Court handles smaller civil claims, warrants, county ordinance matters, and initial appearances. The Sheriff's Office and Georgia agencies add more channels for jail, criminal-history, and custody information.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
